TPO/PVC coated metal plate (TMP)
TMP (Tpo coated metal plate), is a new type of composite waterproof material that integrates longevity, self-cleaning and high strength. Adopting glueless-bonding technology, perfectly bonding TPO and steel plate, avoiding the problem of easy aging by glue bonding.
1. Constructed with TPO membrane laminated to galvanized sheet metal
2. 24-gauge steel with a 25 mil thick membrane film
3. Field and flashing TPO membrane heat welds directly to coated metal
Use: Fabricated by the contractor into metal flashings and edge details. It is used to provide monolithic watertight protection for both adhered and mechanically fastened TPO roofing systems.
Materials: Non-reinforced TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin) membrane laminated to galvanized or stainless steel, or .040 Aluminum.

Applications
TPO coated metal is used on single ply roofing systems as perimeter edge metal, cap metal, and for other prefabricated accessories compatible with TPO roofing systems.
Install our TPO Coated Metal with a minimum 1/8-inch (3.1 mm) and maximum 1/4-inch (6.3 mm) between adjoining sections.
Do not install in direct contact with asphalt or asphaltic membranes. If exposed to weather prior to installation, clean the membrane side of the TPO Coated Metal with an appropriate cleaner and dry thoroughly before attempting to heat weld.
1. Install 2-inch (50.8 mm) wide heat resistant tape over joints in TPO Coated Metal.
2. Heat weld a 6-inch (152.4 mm) wide piece of TPO Unsupported Flashing over the joint.
3. Machine welds to TPO Coated Metal must be at least 1 1/2-inch (38.1 mm) wide. Hand welds must be at least 2-inch (50.8 mm) wide.
1.Store coated metal in a cool, shaded area and cover with light-colored, breathable, waterproof tarpaulins. TPO Coated Metal that has been exposed to the weather must be prepared with Weathered Membrane Cleaner prior to hot-air welding.
2.Wear proper personal protective equipment, such as gloves and eye protection.
Fully-cover Flex Clad Metal uses 24 gauge, G-90 Galvanized Steel and laminates a Thermoplastic Roofing Membrane for a strong, durable product.
These products are created by laminating a layer of 15~35 mil TPO membrane onto a G90 galvanized steel sheet of 24-gauge metal. The TPO membrane allows for easy welding with the main roofing membrane, eliminating the need for separate cover strips or adhesive. The coated metal can be cut to the desired width and used to create drip edges or other roof perimeter edging profiles.
All Fully-cover TPO Coated Metal products meet stringent quality tolerances required for use in a manufacturer's warranted roofing system.
